On 8th March 2026 The Women’s Day celebration was organized by Health Promotion Trust at Amardeep, Mangaon, Raigad, with the enthusiastic participation of close to 300 women. The program was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Mrs. Rutuja Salunke, Gram Sevika of Palasgaon Mangaon Raigad District. The event brought together women participants from different areas of Raigad to celebrate the spirit, strength, and achievements of women, making the occasion meaningful by highlighting the relevance of women in Health Care in nurturing healthy Communities.

Mangaon: (Naresh Patil) In an inspiring atmosphere celebrating women’s empowerment, unity, and the strength of womanhood, International Women’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on Sunday, 8 March 2026. The event was jointly organized by HPT (Health Promotion Trust), Mumbai, and Amardeep Trust, Mangaon. The programme saw an enthusiastic participation of more than 300 women from various parts of Raigad district.
Women from Karjat, Panvel, Tara, Paned, Wadhkal (Tal. Pen), as well as Murud, Roha, Kolad, Nagothane, Tala, Mangaon, and Mahad took part in the event. Directors and representatives of various centres were also present. In total, women from 13 centres participated, and 28 health centres were represented in this initiative.
The programme began with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries present. The chief guest for the event was Ms. Rutuja Salunkhe, Gramsevika of Palsgaon Gram Panchayat. HPT President Fr. Rocky Bans and Director of Amardeep Trust, Sister Asunta Patil, were prominently present. The event was coordinated by Ms. Diana Fernandes, HPT Coordinator for Raigad district.
During the programme, the dignitaries were felicitated. Afterwards, Ms. Diana Fernandes spoke about the importance of Women’s Day and shared information on the various initiatives undertaken by HPT for women’s health, empowerment, and progress.
Chief guest Ms. Rutuja Salunkhe extended her greetings to all the women present and praised Amardeep Trust’s work for women’s development. She said that Women’s Day is a day to honour women — their identity, determination, and achievements. She noted that in today’s era, women are taking leadership roles in every field, and awareness about women’s power and independence is growing stronger in society. She added that it is a matter of pride that Amardeep Trust continuously works for women’s advancement.
This was followed by cultural performances presented by women from various centres. A short play on the theme of “Environment,” performed by the girls of Amardeep Institute, received a tremendous response from the audience.
At the end of the programme, the chief guest was felicitated with a memento by Sister Asunta Patil, Director of Amardeep Trust. Sister Asunta Patil then delivered the vote of thanks.
This Women’s Day celebration, conveying a strong message of unity and empowerment among the women of Raigad district, proved to be truly inspiring.

माणगाव :- (नरेश पाटील) महिला सशक्तीकरण, एकजूट आणि स्त्रीशक्तीचा गौरव अशा प्रेरणादायी वातावरणात एचपीटी (Health Promotion Trust) मुंबई आणि अमरदीप ट्रस्ट, माणगाव यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने रविवार, ८ मार्च २०२६ रोजी आंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिन मोठ्या उत्साहात साजरा करण्यात आला. या कार्यक्रमाला रायगड जिल्ह्यातील विविध भागांतून आलेल्या सुमारे ३०० हून अधिक महिलांची उत्स्फूर्त उपस्थिती लाभली.कार्यक्रमासाठी कर्जत, पनवेल, तारा, पाणेड, वडखळ (ता. पेण) तसेच मुरुड, रोहा, कोलाड, नागोठणे, तळा, माणगाव आणि महाड येथील महिला सहभागी झाल्या. विविध केंद्रांचे संचालक आणि प्रतिनिधी देखील उपस्थित होते. या कार्यक्रमात एकूण १३ केंद्रांतील महिला सहभागी झाल्या असून २८ आरोग्य केंद्रांचे प्रतिनिधित्वही या उपक्रमात झाले.
कार्यक्रमाची सुरुवात उपस्थित मान्यवरांच्या हस्ते पारंपरिक दीपप्रज्वलनाने झाली. कार्यक्रमाच्या प्रमुख पाहुण्या म्हणून पलसगाव ग्रामपंचायतीच्या ग्रामसेविका मा. ऋतुजा साळुंखे उपस्थित होत्या. यावेळी एचपीटीचे अध्यक्ष फा. रॉकी बान्स, अमरदीप ट्रस्टच्या संचालिका सिस्टर असुंता पाटील यांची प्रमुख उपस्थिती होती. कार्यक्रमाचे समन्वयन रायगड जिल्ह्याच्या एचपीटी समन्वयक श्रीमती डायना फर्नांडिस यांनी केले.कार्यक्रमादरम्यान उपस्थित मान्यवरांचा सत्कार करण्यात आला. त्यानंतर श्रीमती डायना फर्नांडिस यांनी महिला दिनाचे महत्त्व आणि एचपीटीमार्फत महिलांच्या आरोग्य, सक्षमीकरण आणि प्रगतीसाठी राबविण्यात येणाऱ्या विविध उपक्रमांची माहिती दिली.
प्रमुख पाहुण्या श्रीमती ऋतुजा साळुंखे यांनी आपल्या भाषणात सर्व उपस्थित महिलांना महिला दिनाच्या शुभेच्छा देत अमरदीप ट्रस्टने महिलांच्या प्रगतीसाठी केलेल्या कार्याचे कौतुक केले. त्यांनी सांगितले की, महिला दिन हा स्त्रियांचा सन्मान, त्यांचे अस्तित्व, जिद्द आणि कर्तृत्व यांचा गौरव करणारा दिवस आहे. आजच्या काळात महिलांनी प्रत्येक क्षेत्रात नेतृत्व घेतले असून स्त्रीशक्ती आणि स्त्रीस्वातंत्र्याची जाणीव समाजात अधिक दृढ होत आहे, असे त्यांनी नमूद केले. अमरदीप ट्रस्ट महिलांच्या प्रगतीसाठी सातत्याने कार्यरत असल्याचा अभिमान वाटतो, असेही त्या म्हणाल्या. यानंतर विविध केंद्रांतील सहभागी महिलांनी सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम सादर केले. अमरदीप संस्थेच्या मुलींनी ‘पर्यावरण’ या विषयावर सादर केलेल्या नाटिकेला उपस्थितांकडून भरभरून दाद मिळाली. कार्यक्रमाच्या शेवटी अमरदीप ट्रस्टच्या संचालिका सिस्टर असुंता पाटील यांच्या हस्ते प्रमुख पाहुण्यांना स्मृतिचिन्ह देऊन सन्मानित करण्यात आले. त्यानंतर सिस्टर असुंता पाटील यांनी आभार प्रदर्शन केले. रायगड जिल्ह्यातील महिलांची एकजूट आणि सशक्तीकरणाचा संदेश देणारा हा महिला दिनाचा सोहळा अत्यंत प्रेरणादायी ठरला.

In an inspiring atmosphere of women’s empowerment, unity, and the celebration of womanhood, International Women’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on Sunday, 8 March by HPT (Health Promotion Trust), Mumbai, and Amardeep Trust, Mangaon.
This programme saw an enthusiastic presence of more than 300 women from various parts of Raigad district.
Women participants came from Karjat, Panvel, Tara, Paned, Wadhkal (Taluka Pen) as well as from Murud, Roha, Kolad, Nagothane, Tala, Mangaon, and Mahad. Directors and representatives from various centres were also present. Women from a total of 13 centres participated in this programme, and 28 health centres were represented in this initiative.
