Barefoot health worker training program of Health Promotion Trust
Over the years, the Health Promotion Trust, in partnership with various Church-Based Organizations and local Parishes, has successfully mobilized groups to participate in a two-year preventive health care program developed by the Trust. These training sessions are held monthly, and upon completion, participants receive a Barefoot Health Worker certificate, which empowers them to confidently practice and share their knowledge within their communities. We are pleased to announce that this year, the Health Promotion Trust awarded the Barefoot Health Worker certificate to 47 trainees at Jagruti Kendra, Sakinaka, on August 8, 2024, to 54 trainees at Suryoday Samaj Kendra, Gorai, on August 22, 2024, to 27 trainees at Premdarshan Community Centre, Juhu and to 69 trainees at Our Lady of Salvation Church, Dadar.
